      Hydro reaches final in the renowned S&P Global Platts Award 2020

      Hydro has been announced as a finalist in several categories for the 2020 S&P Global Platts Metals Awards.

      The awards program recognizes exemplary accomplishments in 15 categories and is hosted by S&P Global Platts, the leading independent provider of information and benchmark prices for the commodities and energy markets.

      Among the noteworthy nominations is Hilde Merete Aasheim as CEO of the year, Chief Financial Officer Pål Kildemo as Rising Star, the Corporate Sustainability Award and praise for Hydro CIRCAL in the Breakthrough Solution of the Year in addition to the Scrap and Recycling Industry Leadership award.

      “This is a great recognition of the work that’s being done across the company, both on a team level and individually. It’s encouraging to see that our efforts within sustainability and the systematic work to promote Hydro CIRCAL is being acknowledged by industry peers,” says Inger Sethov, EVP Communications and Public Affairs.
