Hydro's main report for 2012 is the "Annual Report - 2012" with detailed information about Hydro's businesses, operational performance, financial performance, viability performance, corporate governance and financial statements.

"Weakness and uncertainty in the world economy weighs on the aluminium price. When I express my belief in the future of aluminium, it's because the underlying factors point to continued solid growth in demand for aluminium.," President and CEO Svein Richard Brandtzæg writes in his letter to shareholders.

"We are seeing through substantial improvement programs in all of our business areas and have taken important strategic actions that will make us more robust regardless of what the future brings – and will make us the aluminium industry's winner when demand catches up to production."

In addition, a report which fulfills the Norwegian statutory requirements for annual reporting has been prepared, titled "Financial Statements and Board of Directors' Report - 2012". This report is available in Norwegian and English.
