In his new position, Lundqvist will report to Executive Vice President and CFO Jørgen C. Arentz Rostrup.
Rikard Lindqvist (30) joined Hydro in 2007 and comes from a position as program manager in Portfolio Development in Hydro's Primary Metal business area. He has previously held positions within business development, strategy and industry analysis in Hydro.
Lindqvist holds a Master's degree in Economics from Lund University School of Economics and Management in Sweden.
He succeeds Stefan Solberg, who will take on a position as head of Finance in Precision Tubing in Hydro's Extruded Products business area in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The changes will take effect November 1, 2011
