      Inge K. Hansen proposed as new Hydro board member

      Hydro’s nomination committee is proposing Inge K. Hansen as a new member of the Board of Directors to replace Svein Rennemo, who has asked to step down as member of the board. The proposal of the nomination committee will be placed before a corporate assembly meeting on 12 March.

      Inge K. Hansen (61) has held several distinguished positions in a long business career in Norway, such as CFO and acting CEO of Statoil, and as CEO of Aker Kværner.

      Hansen holds several leading board positions, and chairs the boards of Avinor and the Norwegian School of Management (BI) and is a board member in Jiffy. Hansen is also proposed as the new leader of the board of Gjensidige.

      Hansen is a graduate of the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH). He is married and has three children.
