              Hydro increases strip prices for Mg-alloys

              With immediate effect Hydro increases prices for aluminium strip containing magnesium and manganese, delivered into the general engineering market.

              The reason for this are the continuously rising raw metal prices for all alloying elements – especially for magnesium.

              These have already led to a cost increase of an average of 15 EUR/to per every percent of alloying element. This cost increase has to be forwarded to the customers in every new agreement.
