Effective communication is the key to strong relationships between suppliers and customers. Cooperation and technical integration with our suppliers, as well as the development of effective supplier/customer relationships is essential to enable Hydro Extrusion to continuously meet, or exceed the requirements of our customers to create strong competitiveness in the market. In order to meet or exceed customer expectations, we must identify, select and actively develop suppliers who consistently deliver products and services with high delivery precision, quality and at the lowest total cost throughout the entire supply chain.

Hydro Extrusion has produced a Supplier Handbook .
It should try to inform existing and potential suppliers in the best possible way about what requirements and expectations we have, and create the conditions for a successful supplier/customer relationship. We must jointly work with a process that creates the conditions for continuous improvement, as well as measure and monitor the results and reward the suppliers who meet or exceed our expectations.

Hydro is a strong player in the processing of its extruded aluminum profiles. Processing takes place both in our own workshops and with external partners. These partners form a significant and important part of Hydro's value chain and are critical to our success with customers. Specific information for our partners is available via our external processing partner portal. Login details are obtained from your contact person at Hydro.

Suppliers must meet certain criteria regarding quality, health and safety, financial sustainability, and social responsibility including human rights, anti-corruption and working conditions. Through the assessment process and agreement, commitment and fulfillment of the above criteria is ensured. Hydro Extrusion expects all suppliers to meet the requirements set out in its "Code of Conduct".

Hydro complies with laws and regulations regulated in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This is described in the Hydro Privacy Statement .
We only register such contact information as is necessary to maintain a business relationship.
We never register any other personal data not necessary for the business relationship.
If a contact person wishes to obtain a register extract, or alternatively delete their personal data, we refer to the designated contact form and link at www.hydro.com .
After such a request, Hydro will delete the specified data, as well as send a confirmation in return.

SSG

Hydro Extrusion Sweden AB participates in an industry-wide concept to increase and streamline safety training for contractors. The concept goes by the name SSG Entre, and all employees of contractors who perform work at our facilities must undergo an interactive, web-based safety training before being sent to Hydro Extrusion Sweden AB. If the training is approved, the employee receives a pass that gives access to Hydro Extrusion Sweden AB. Information and documents are available at www.ssg.se.
