Contribute to the circular economy with Cradle to Cradle Certified® (light) poles

Cradle to Cradle® (C2C) embraces the concept of the circular economy and emphasizes value creation from recycled and secondary materials. The Cradle to Cradle Certified® program not only offers quality products, but also opportunities to make responsible and more sustainable choices. Specifically for (light) poles, Cradle to Cradle Certified® helps you achieve your sustainability goals. How? We are happy to explain below.

      What is Cradle to Cradle®?

For over ten years, Cradle to Cradle Certified® has been encouraging companies to innovate sustainably by optimizing processes, materials, and products for reuse and minimal environmental impact. Cradle to Cradle Certified® is a global standard used by designers, brands, and manufacturers across various sectors to design and create products that enable a healthy, fair, and sustainable future.

The core of Cradle to Cradle® is to think about the positive impact of a product from the design stage, rather than just limiting the negative environmental effects. Cradle to Cradle® is based on three basic principles:

      • Waste is food
      • Use renewable energy
      • Respect diversity

The Cradle to Cradle Certified® program sets strict requirements across five quality categories and offers customers a wide range of benefits that not only improve product performance but also contribute to a sustainable future.

      • Material Health : Cradle to Cradle Certified® (light) poles are made from safe and environmentally friendly materials, creating a healthier environment for both users and the community.
      • Circularity of products : The circularity of the (light) poles contributes to reduced waste production. Customers benefit from products that are easy to recycle and can be reused in the production of new (light) poles or other products after their life cycle has ended. This fits in perfectly with sustainable business operations and reduces the ecological footprint.
      • Clean air and climate protection : By using sustainable production processes and materials, less pollution is created, which improves air quality and contributes to the fight against climate change. This allows customers to invest in environmentally responsible solutions with peace of mind.
      • Water and soil management : Production processes are optimized to conserve water and protect natural resources, resulting in minimal impact on local ecosystems.
      • Social justice : Social justice is a top priority in the production of Cradle to Cradle Certified® (light) poles. Customers can be sure that their purchase contributes to fair working conditions and has a positive social impact on the local community where these products are manufactured.

Products are assessed in each category at four performance levels: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. The Cradle to Cradle Certified® program requires companies to demonstrate continuous improvement in each category. The standard itself has also been further developed, which has tightened the criteria. Simply put: the silver of the past is not the silver of today.graphical user interface, application, Teams
