Until 2023, Jane Toogood OBE was the Chief Executive of Catalyst Technologies (2022–2023) at Johnson Matthey, a global sustainable technology company (12,500 employees, listed on the London Stock Exchange) and before that, Sector Chief Executive of Efficient Natural Resources (2017–2022) and Divisional Director of Precious Metals (2016–2017).
Toogood’s deep experience of leading business transformation and growth has been built over many years across a number of global business management, senior commercial and business development roles within the global chemical industry, covering multiple industry sectors from automotive, to healthcare, to petrochemicals. She has worked internationally for many years, for companies such as Borealis, ICI and Uniqema in Europe and the US and is currently based in the UK.
Toogood served as the UK’s first Hydrogen Champion and serves as joint chair of the UK Government’s Hydrogen Delivery Council.
