Hydro signs railroad agreement in Pará, Brazil
Hydro has signed an agreement with Government of Pará in support of the planned railroad project in the state of Pará (FEPASA). Under the agreement, Hydro has committed to contract an annual cargo of 5 million tonnes of bauxite on the planned railway.

Second quarter 2017: Results up on higher aluminium prices
Hydro's underlying earnings before financial items and tax increased to NOK 2,930 million in the second quarter from NOK 2,284 million in the first quarter, mainly driven by higher aluminium prices and favourable currency developments. Lower realized alumina prices and increased raw material costs had a negative impact on results.
