As part of the growth, Hydro is investing DKK 50 million (€6.7 million) in high-tech equipment at its precision tubing units in Løgumkloster and Bedsted, near Tønder.

In addition, the company is expanding by more than 1,000 square meters the production areas in Bedsted, where manning is expected to increase from 60 to 140 by the middle of next year.

Hydro has around 500 employees working for its Precision Tubing sector in Tønder, including the satellite units in Løgumkloster and Bedsted. Hydro also employs another 450 people in Tønder, combined, at its extrusion plant and automotive structures facility.

Hydro, the largest aluminium company in Europe, is the global market leader in providing extruded and rolled aluminium solutions for automotive heat exchanger solutions.

Our tubes are found mainly in applications such as condensers and evaporators for air-conditioning systems as well as liquid lines for air conditioning, heater cores and radiators for engine cooling systems, charge air coolers and other cooling systems.
