Terrafix Solarpark taps Hydro’s North America network to extrude components for racking system

Terrafix Solarpark manufactures and installs its patented Terrafix earthscrew foundations and fixed racking systems for solar panel installations. The company has been highly successful in Europe with more than 100 solar power plants installed. When the company opened its North American operations in Hayward, California, it turned to Hydro to extrude components for the racking system.

Selecting Hydro was an easy decision, according to Ya-Sin Norrise, an onsite project manager with Terrafix Solarpark. “We had a relationship with Hydro in Denmark and knew they already produced the product we needed,” he said.
